SMS Messaging Consent
How Zephyr Labs collects consent and communicates with buyer agents through Showing Line.
Effective date: October 2, 2026
Overview
Showing Line helps buyer agents ask questions about active listings and coordinate showing appointments. A listing-side account can use one phone number for multiple active properties. The assistant establishes which property a request concerns before taking a scheduling action.
How Consent Is Collected
Consent is collected through user-initiated contact. Zephyr Labs does not send unsolicited text messages. The opt-in process works as follows:
- A buyer agent receives a Showing Line phone number from the listing-side account or its listing materials.
- The buyer agent voluntarily texts that number to request assistance. Replies relate to that showing conversation. A new scheduling request does not override an existing opt-out.
- Showing Line provides assistance when the request and current messaging permissions allow it. Recipients can use the standard opt-out command: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
Message Content & Frequency
Content: Messages concern the properties and showing requests in the conversation. They may include permitted property information, availability, temporary holds, booking confirmations, cancellations, showing logistics, and reminders when authorized. A temporary hold is not a confirmed booking.
Frequency: Message frequency depends on the conversation and any authorized appointment updates. Showing Line does not send marketing messages or promotional content.
No sharing: Consent and phone numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
How to Opt Out
Recipients can stop receiving messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to the Showing Line number, or clearly asking the assistant to stop all messages from that number
- Emailing hello@zephyrlabs.co to request support with messaging preferences
An opt-out stops ordinary automated messages from that Showing Line number across its properties. A single acknowledgment may confirm the change. It does not automatically change preferences for other phone numbers. Cancelling one showing or declining one reminder is different from stopping all messages.
A clear request to resume contact can update the assistant's messaging preference. If your carrier or messaging provider has blocked replies after an opt-out, use START or UNSTOPto lift that provider block. Contacting support by email requests manual assistance; it does not immediately change your messaging preference.
